   Glasgow Family Practice is a complete Family Practice medical office specializing in the comprehensive care of children and adults. It is our opinion the best results are attained through wellness and prevention. Our goals are to detect the many risk factors that may lead to such diseases as hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol and to modify them before they lead to serious illness such as heart disease or stroke. Regular visits are important for older adults especially if they take medication. Visits every 3-4 months are advised to monitor your progress, review laboratory results and discuss any medication changes that may be needed. In our practice we try to make the patient an active participant in his or her care. As family practitioners we are skilled in the management of a wide range of medical problems such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and asthma. We also offer supportive diagnostic evaluations such as EKG's, pulmonary function testing, and on site bone densitometry.

   Glasgow Family Practice is located in the Glasgow Medical Center, 2600 Glasgow Avenue Suite 120. The medical center is a state of the art facility that has a medical aid unit for minor injuries. For your convenience it is open nights and weekends.  The center also has a large number of diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic services in house. These include MRI, ultrasound, bone density and other imaging services as well as an array of laboratory and rehabilitative services.
